Transforming Desserts
We’ve been in the business of agriculture for more than 16 years already. Mainly growing grapes, but also citrus and asparagus; and in the aim for perfection, we’ve encountered several challenges which have shaped us into the organization we are today. Our first challenge was to transform ourselves into a team of excellence, which would allow us to enter the business of high performance agriculture.
In the process of doing so, we aimed to take Andrea through an important growth plan; increasing our farming operations to four times its size. To maximize the results of our efforts, we challenged our selves by taking opportunities on dessert landscapes; which were well suited for a Dakar race, but not agriculture. Then we realized, we where not on the business of agriculture any more; we where now in the Business of Transformation. We had challenged our selves into transforming desserts into agriculture land; and to do so exceeding all performance parameters achieved in most valley locations. We transformed the people, by going where nobody was willing to go; introducing small villages around us into the agriculture business. We transformed ourselves, by understanding that there are no limits; that the boundaries we encounter are only in our mind, and that as long as we maintain perseverance and hard work, we’ll always walk closer to our goals.
Now the challenge continues, as the growth plan we’ve aligned for our organization exceeds recent achievements.
